Nothing says commitment to your relationship like making goals together. Make a list of things want to do together in future or before your wedding and honeymoon or even the rest of your life.

3. set up a scavenger hunt

this requires a little advance preparation but is worth it and don't even need to leave the house to get it going. us the history of your relationship to develop clever clues for your other half to find and solve around the house with a small gift waiting for them at the end. you could send the first clue as an email or text before they get home, so they're ready to start the search when they step through the door.

4. make a time capsule

Time can't be frozen but capturing a little of it can be if you put together a couple's time capsule. Use a reasonably sized container from a shoebox to a biscuit tin and fill it up with keepsakes like photos or tickets or something been to together. Then set a date when you'll open it together for next valentine's day or make the wait even longer.
